While many timber framers use SIPs, not all SIPs are manufactured in the same way. Hybrid timber frame homes are some of the most energy efficient homes on the market today. We can insulate the conventional sections of the hybrid home with whatever insulation and r value you choose, still creating a very energy efficient home. A hybrid design uses a true post and beam frame for the main living areas , while using partial or no timber frame in the rest of the structure .
